This card was made with Prima’s new paper collection Fairy Belle, I love it! Making the card was a bit of trial & error for me (I’m not the best making cards), I’m better at the mini album thing. My challenge was I used a glitter pen to get a sparkle effect on the leaves and it was a bit much if you know what I mean… So I ended up using Tim Holtz distress ink to tone the glitter pen down… waaaayyy down and it ended up with this smoky, smudged look. I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not but here it is.
I also used rickrack, Prima printed trim, my liquid pearl pen (new fav toy), Prima Fairy Belle chipboard piece and Paper Trey Inc. card stock nice & thick! The little chair stamp is from Pink Paislee’s London Market clear stamp collection.
This adorable pocketed card was a happy accident (score and cutting fiasco) but ended up brilliant so I made a bunch more to keep on hand. I love anything with pockets that I can stick tags in! :0) Embossing, embellishing, stamping, working with a few different types of adhesives and voila! A card is born… OK, I know that was a little too punny.
This bright & cheery humming bird album was made using hole punched lunch sacks as the base. I used Colorbok patterened paper, Making Memories metal embellishments along with K& Co., Jolee’s Boutique, Recollections, iamroses flowers, some stick pins, trim from Michaels and stamps from various sets.
The challenge with this album was that I couldn’t find a whole bunch of scrapbook embellishments that were hummingbird themed, considering… I really like the concessions I ended making to achieve the result for Mary (the buyer). :0)
I must agree with comment from KaptenZom… Enjoy.
A quick share here… I made this Mother’s Day card with grey cardstock, hydrangea stamp (only using the blossom portion) for the back ground, sheer pink ribbon, Luxury Stack paper by DCWV (circle shaped piece behind sticker sentiment), Fimo clay tiny pink flowers and sheer grey ribbon at the top. The sentiment sticker is from Sticko and was a bit transparent so I used white cardstock to adhere it to then distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in Pumice Stone. Easy Peezey. Love pastel colors.
A card for mom using Prima Reflections paper collection. I added a piece of a paper doily, layered some Recollections paper flowers and secured them with Recollections heart shaped pearl brads, embellished my very first stick pin and embellished the flowers with flat back pearls from recollections. The Lace thickers (thick sticker letters) are also from Recollections. Wow, OK, thank you Recollections, I guess I hadn’t realized so many of my staple supplies are from them.
