Well hellooooo everyone! ANNOUNCEMENT TIME: I have been offered a position of Instructor for the paper crafts/scrapbooking division of my local Michale’s store, yay! I have accepted and will be going through their instructor training and jumping right in with teaching classes on what they offer as well as taking some creative liberties with adding my own curriculum! I’m so excited to meet local/community crafters and get paid to do what I love most. Here is my very first in-store demo where I showcased wet embossing techniques and also distress inking by making Halloween themed tags. The smaller tags were done at home as samples. The larger & brighter tags were done in-store during my demo.
A little slant, a little bow, and ahhha, a little summer…
I used My Island stamp set on this project.

This adorable collection from BoBunny is so impressive with the images designed. I just love working with it! I’m making another album as we speak. A few things I did with this album are: I distressed the edges with Gathered Twigs by Tim Holtz, painted a paper doily black with acrylic paint and made a page behind double doors that open with a velcro circle cut in half.
Black sewn lunch sack album (find on e-bay or make yourself)
Bo Bunny’s Little Miss sticker sheets, chipboard embellishments and button pack

*Resist canvas by Tim Holtz, lace ribbon bow by Jolee’s Boutique, borders by K&Co., cameo & jewel buttons by Dress It Up Button Co.
The current color challenge at Stampendous rubber stamp company is one I was drawn to and decided to play along with. I made this summer themed card with their adorable stamp set “Sushi Bowl Party” using the sandcastle, starfish and shell images from the set. I stamped each image twice then layered for dimension with foam tape.
I like the Stampendous Perfectly Clear™ stamps best. They make placement so much easier! The designs are really satisfying with their styles ranging from cutesie to elegant.
I also entered this card in the current sketch challenge 273 over at CPS.
