So I taught my class today and had two students that turned out some adorable & really nice cards! I was so pleased to work with them. So here are a few snapshots of the finished cards. I share the classroom with our crochet instructor Alice and we always have such a nice time teaching side-by-side. It’s great to have students see other classes in progress. My student got Alice’s crochet class schedule! It works out nice.
I love the Woodland Park collection by October Afternoon, the patterns are so adorable! I used my Martha Stewart border punch, baker’s twine in lime green, American Crafts paper trimmer with interchangeable edge blades, Tim Holtz’s Distress Ink in Weathered Wood and Studio G stamps from Michaels.
Since “HB” has taken off as abbreviated Happy Birthday, I decided to use it on this card because of the limited space on the round collection sticker.
The strip that has the baker’s twine on it is glued on the edges only so I could fit the tag into it like a pocket of sorts.
It’s going in the mail today!
