Mother’s Day card

Hi peeps! I made this card from some old stash and just wanted to pop on here and share. It was part of an order of 5 cards I completed recently. The stack is K & Company and I just layered paper and fussy cut the butterflies out and left them half glued so that I can pop them up. The extra butterflies that were fussy cut were put inside of the card so that when the recipient opened it they would fall out.

My Mom Made This Album!- G45 Nutcracker Sweet

G45’s Nutcracker Sweet papers are so beautiful! My mom who is a recent pro-paper crafter made this album for her mother-in-law as a belated Christmas gift. I’m just getting it up on my blog now because it’s taken her some time to complete it. As you’ll see by the many photos, there are plenty of tags, pockets, embellishments, ribbons, gems, pull-outs and more!  It really is a holiday work of art made with love, love and more love. There is a YouTube video of this fabulous album that gives you an inside & up-close look at it down below, check it out!

I know Cheri will be astounded!

Enjoy 🙂

A Little Valentine for the Boss

Hi bloggers! Many of you know, I instruct paper crafting at Michaels where I live. So typically I find great deals and see new stuff when it comes in.

I found these really adorable (alterable) balsa wood boxes perfect for treats. I decided to kiss-up to the boss (ha, ha) by making her one adorned with patterned paper, embellishments and fill it with treats! I really like these little boxes, they’re easy to embellish and fun to make. They are a step up from paper boxes because they have a more solid feel to them.

Also, I used some fussy cut ephemera from K&Co.’s Valentine Themed paper called “Cupid’s Specialty Paper Pad” as well as a Spellbinder’s Die Cut.
