Baby Girl Lunch Sack Mini Album #2

This lush mini album has pearl finished papers from DCWV Luxury Stack, tags from Best Creations ‘Sweet Baby’ collection, tons of embellishments from K& Co., many stylish buttons from Dress It Up Button Co., cut outs from the Silhouette Cameo, I am Roses flowers, collectible buttons, trim from Michaels, my personal stash, Recollections layered flowers, and more! I wasn’t sure about the choice in the paper until I got going with the album then it all fell together in such a classy, rich way. I love the fun result. It’s very girlie and soft. The pictures actually do the album justice! Although there is nothing like holding a finished project in your hands. I hope you enjoy and feel free to leave a comment!

Mini Album for my aunt

This was my second time “out of the gate” and it went much smoother. I used the 6×6 paperstack by DCWV called “Citrus” because my aunt loves bright primary colors, used embellishments from Jolee’s Boutique and did minimal distressing on the edges (with a regular stamp pad). I finished it off with scrap fibers including suede. I’m using more and more suede scraps thanks to my mom (I’ll talk more about all the goodies she gave me in another post titled “Goodies from MOM”). This album was very fun to create with all the bright spring-like colors. This project definitely makes me ready for warmer weather.

Mini Album for Mom

This was my first attempt at making a (toilet paper roll) mini album. I really like the personal touch put into the album because it has a bracelet of my mom’s, an old family clip earring and a vintage shoe clip added to the album. You can see the rough design elements with the hand drawn lines for the journal spots. It was meant to be a keeper so I had my friend Amy (THANK YOU AMY!), make the adorable pouch to keep it in. Result… My mom loved it! It’s displayed in her living room :0) I used DCWV paper stack and distressed the edges with acrylic paint (gasp) before getting any distress inks. Then I completed it by fashioning the album with some scrap fibers.
