I just love this. It has it all: fussy cutting, spring flowers, charm and of course beautiful paper from G45!
The inside is just perfect for a small, lovely note.
So I was staring at one of my paper bag mini inserts and realized it could be a great card! Sure enough, it proved to make a special card with that extra “umph”. With it’s magnetic closure and multi-surfaces to show off the beautiful paper, this one was a winner! Sequins are a big hit right now, so I had to sprinkle a few on the card of course. I adhered them with my Glossy Accents and voila!
I also like adding the paper strip that names the collection used on my projects as a way to give recognition to the fabulous collections they produce whether it be Graphic 45, October Afternoon, Crate Paper, or others!
I just started with pulling sheets that coordinated well, began cutting them according to what layer they would be on the card surface and had fun with it. I always tell my students, the hardest part of paper crafting, is decision making. So true.
Here, I bagged the card for mailing to the recipient. It gave it an extra appeal of hand crafted-ness. 🙂 * The card was mailed in a bubble mailer marked “Please Do Not Bend”.
Here are some Moleskin blank journals transformed into mermaid-themed keepsakes using Graphic 45s Tropical Travelogue. The request was to keep them flat and simple with incorporating a camouflage pocket. Each journal varies a bit in design and embellishments from the images on the covers and inside covers. All have the same 4 stamped images of mermaids & starfish on random pages within. Each has a small pocket on the back inside cover that holds a bookmark complete with stamped images.
Before beginning this project, the journals were taken to the beach for some salt water, sand and seaweed exposure for a weathered look.
