Mother’s Day card

Hi peeps! I made this card from some old stash and just wanted to pop on here and share. It was part of an order of 5 cards I completed recently. The stack is K & Company and I just layered paper and fussy cut the butterflies out and left them half glued so that I can pop them up. The extra butterflies that were fussy cut were put inside of the card so that when the recipient opened it they would fall out.

Coffee Can – Crafty Gift

DSCN1918 DSCN1919 DSCN1920 DSCN1921 DSCN1922 DSCN1923

This covered coffee can is a great gift idea for the holidays and takes little time to craft so you can do many! Now I think about it, you can do these for any occasion. Who doesn’t like some good grounds.  :0)  I covered the can in measured paper (eye balled and snipped where I needed to cut), adhered with my Scotch Advanced Tape Glider, decorated with washi tape, ephemera from the collection and adorned the lid with paper and a bow to top!  The paper is from K&Co. and trim is from Michaels. I bought the tag pad, ephemera and stickers along with the the 12×12 stack and made some cards I will share in another post. Happy crafting!

Some Christmas Projects!

Ok, so for the sake of time and wanting to share what I’ve been up to, I’ve combined some pics of fun projects I’ve worked on this holiday season so far, I hope you don’t mind… Many of the papers I used are from Michaels (perk of teaching there since I get first glance of products when they hit the shelves).

There are still cookies to bake and cards to mail out along with more keepsake albums to finish, so enjoy the slideshow below. Please feel free to message me any questions in the comments and I will reply :0)  I hope you all are having a festive and wonderful holiday season!

What I left on my son’s bed this Monday…

My teen goes back and forth from his dad’s to my house. It’s a science now… However, it’s nice to welcome him home when our week begins, ya know, because I miss him when he’s gone.

Here is what he came home to find on his bed for a belated Halloween treat!

All products were K&Co. from Michaels except the plastic coffin ($1 store find). The candy were his faves, or so I thought… Kit Kat, yes, Whoppers, oh ya, but Milk Duds… not-so-much… I guess his impression of them is, well, “it’s fake caramel, not like the real stuff”. So two outta three ain’t bad, eh? I’ll keep a look out for buttered, salted caramel – the REAL stuff. Too funny.
