Put on your favorite show in craft room, grab a yummy coffee from the kitchen, sit down.

Cards & a tiny rant!

Hi all, I’m back here to share a few cards I’ve made and spent over 25 minutes typing descriptions, anecdotes, and products used when all of a sudden, I hit something on my keyboard and my post was all GONE! Not sure what I hit but reminder to self: save, save, save as you go…

Embellished Altoids Tin

Altoid tins! Decorated for Valentine’s Day next week!

I took patterned paper, some heart embellishments (punched out and adhesive ones) and went to town. Added a little baker’s twine, washi tape, clay flowers and voila! Some minty fresh treats for those you adore.

Here are a few shots of cards I made this holiday season. I had so much fun with all the great paper designs!  I love paper!!! Some were Mod/retro, elegant/rustic and others, just plain cute! Borders, layering, trim, etc… Easy.

Haunted Estate Paper Bag Mini Album

Hello all!

I’m still enjoying this fall/Halloween season with all the paper collections out there right now. I am plugging away at a few more Halloween projects before moving onto Christmas. This particular album was great to make and… I was really impressed with Recollections’ design and style of their patterned paper. I was looking for spoooky and they definitely delivered!

I used some I Am Roses flowers on the cover with a stick pin that I glued a cute little button to. I finished it off with a spooky lady skeleton cameo. On the binding, I used some fun trim and attached a Tim Holtz little glass bottle of black glitter with some bakers twine.

The oval tags inside the album that look spritzed… were. I didn’t care for how “bright white” they looked, so I sprayed them with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The trim on most of all the tags was Martha Stewart (this year’s collection) and used Tim Holtz’s Tiny Attacher. Some additional embellishments are from Jolee’s, Martha Stewart and trim & buttons from my stash. I hope you enjoy!

Baby Girl Lunch Sack Mini Album #2

This lush mini album has pearl finished papers from DCWV Luxury Stack, tags from Best Creations ‘Sweet Baby’ collection, tons of embellishments from K& Co., many stylish buttons from Dress It Up Button Co., cut outs from the Silhouette Cameo, I am Roses flowers, collectible buttons, trim from Michaels, my personal stash, Recollections layered flowers, and more! I wasn’t sure about the choice in the paper until I got going with the album then it all fell together in such a classy, rich way. I love the fun result. It’s very girlie and soft. The pictures actually do the album justice! Although there is nothing like holding a finished project in your hands. I hope you enjoy and feel free to leave a comment!

Planes, Trains and an Ark – Little Boy Lunch Sack Album

This fun & bright little boy themed lunch sack album was created using DCWV Nana’s Kids, bright & fun trim, embellishments from Jolee’s Boutique puffy star stickers, Martha Stewart fuzzy whale sticker, elephant punch and picket fence punch, K&Co. borders & sentiment stickers, Recollections adhesive star borders, layered flowers, brads & zoo stickers, Dress It Up Button Co., Silhouette Cameo shapes [train, banana, star & moon, little grey stars]. From my stash you will find flat-back bling, plain buttons and baker’s twine. The album was distressed all in Shabby Shutters by Tim Holtz.

A trip to Oz through Graphic 45

A trip to Oz through Graphic 45 – Toilet Paper roll mini. This mini album is simple, cute and packs a punch straight to Oz with Graphic 45’s gorgeous scrapbook paper stack. Save your toilet paper rolls, cover them with beautiful paper and try a little something like this!

The tags used are standard shipping tags with distressed inked edges and glittered chipboard and grunge-board, complete with embellishments from Prima flower, Martha Stewart butterfly sticker, Jolee’s Boutique poppy sticker, chipboard gears, Tim Holtz grunge-board crown, heart and keys (a flexible, pliable material that can be sanded, distressed, painted, inked, and more). The stamp set used was Graphic 45 – Hampton Art – The Magic of Oz Collection – Cling Mounted Rubber Stamps – Wicked Magic Three.

Brands used on this project: Tim Holtz, Prima, Martha Stewart, Jolee’s Boutique, Recollections, Graphic 45, and trim from Michaels and SCOTT BRAND TOILET PAPER.

Mermaid Album

This Mermaid album is full of vintage buttons, distress techniques and styles, rich color schemes, pockets filled with tags and photo mats with enough room for pictures of beach fun! Tim Holtz distress ink, stickles and clip, Creative Imaginations Beach Cottage paper, a collection of different trims, twine and buttons, embellishments complete from K&Co., Jolee’s, Sticko, Recollections, Prima, Martha Stewart, TJ Maxx, Webster’s Pages, Glossy Accents were all used to create this album.

I made album this as a gift for a true mermaid fan.
