Lost Tags of My Minds Eye – All is Bright

DSCN1928 DSCN1929 DSCN1930 DSCN1931 DSCN1940

Well, what a thing to happen… Made these fun tags with the new collection by MME, All is Bright  and in the hustle & bustle of wrapping, they got set aside and I just found them!  Oh well, next year’s gifts will have some great tags.

Hee, hee…  I used white acrylic paint on the edges of the tags (thanks Kim for the tip from Paper Loves Glue), layered the paper, adhered brads, chipboard and washi tape to the tags and also used stamps from the collection for added pop. The little jungle bells are from Michaels and the tinsel yarn is Martha Stewart, Michales also.

4th of July ATCs

I know, I know, the fireworks show is over but patriotism is not dead here, “boom, boom, crackle, crackle, pow, pow, pop, pop”.

I’m sending these bad boys off in the mail this week. I wanted to share them with you all first though! I entered an ATC challenge with Your Paper Pantry (YPP) hosted by Natasha Z. Hensel (Enastasia) on YouTube called “July 2012- Patriotic” leaving it open to all countries which is just like our crafting world… knitting us together with glitter, glue and paper. The challenge on YPP for these ATCs is to make 10 for each group you join, keep one for your self out of each 10 you make. Since I was in two groups, I made a total of 20 and will mail 18 to Natasha, the hostess, which then she will mail 18 from all other participants to me. It’s so great to see everyone’s interpretation and creativity and make new friends with common interests. I hope you enjoy these little guys!

Little Boy Lunch Sack Mini Album (My Mind’s Eye)

This lunch sack album is themed with the zoo and stars! The paper stack I used was from My Mind’s Eye, The Boy Papers. This stack was given to me by a fellow crafter Kim Duran {Paper Loves Glue} http://aidenmak.blogspot.com/, thank you Kim! The colors are muted and primary. It is embellished with animals, stars, outdoor settings, collage photo mats in the large pockets and much, much more. The base of the album is a rustic red and has seven pockets, baker’s twine, buttons, dimensional stickers, cut out shapes from the Silhouette Cameo machine http://silhouetteamerica.com/silhouetteCameo.aspx, borders from K&Co., trim from Michaels, brads, buttons from Dress It Up Button Co. http://dressitup.com/ and layered flowers from Recollections.
